StartTech Ventures is looking for an individual to initiate development of a new innovating cloud service.

Synergies between StartTech incubated companies is one of our competitive advantages. Through such a synergy, a new exciting cloud service has emerged. We are recruiting highly skilled people to turn this service from a draft prototype into a full-fledged public cloud service.

Skills and passion are prerequisites. You will be building really useful software and innovative services that businesses around the world will use as core components. High quality results and attention to detail are required. You will be interacting with top-notch software development teams that will use your code in production environments.

We need exceptional people. Qualifications include:

• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with open-source software.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and Systems Programming.
• Experience with Python (or at least some other scripting language like sh, Ruby or Perl)
• Experience with building RESTful web services will be a huge plus.
• HTML5/JS/jQuery knowledge is not required, but it would be prove useful.
• Sharp analytical skills. - Excellent written and spoken English.

The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset, is self-motivated and loves creating new staff and being a core member of a new venture.

This is a full-time position, working out of our offices in downtown Athens.
