Job Description
As a software engineer you will be building core capabilities and services for Douleutaras and you must be passionate about software engineering and awesome product experiences. Responsibilities
- Participate in the agile feature/product design process working with cross-functional teams including: Product Management, Design and Operations

REQUIREMENTS

- Solid web developer with at least 1 year of Python experience
- 2+ years professional experience with enterprise architecture and developing highly scalable websites/services
- Strong Understanding of OOP principles/design patterns

- Source control systems experience
- Experience with Javascript frameworks
- Good knowledge on relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Hands-on experience developing, releasing, and maintaining large-scale software applications

Job Profile
ESO is looking for a full-time Python developer on-premise in Athens, Greece, or part-time with regular presence in Athens, Greece. You will be required to travel to our parent company in Germany and/or internationally on a monthly basis. An advanced level of English is required for regular team meetings (e.g. online conferences), GitHub issue resolution, and completing documentation.
You will be developing Python and JavaScript in the Frappe Framework (frappe.io) to implement customized ERP solutions for ESO based on the Frappe APP ERPNext (erpnext.com). The current software team of 2 is located in Germany and Greece, of which 2 are developers. The company overall has over 80 employees.
Much of the code written will be contributed back to the open source stack of ERPNext, so we encourage active engagement in the open source community. If you are looking to work locally in a small but growing agile and international team to build an enterprise ERPSystem, and if you are a very experienced Python developer, this job may be right for you.
