Job Description
Your role will be to work as a member of the engineering team responsible for designing and maintaining our REST API and deploying our application and its components in Unix/Linux environments aiming to scale to millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Build new Linux systems in hardware and/or cloud server environments
- Maintain, monitor, and create development and production environments
- Troubleshoot production and systems issues
- Tune systems and site for performance
- Support and improve our tools for automated, testing building and release management
- Manage our Git source control repos
- Audit/ensure the security of deployed system
- Implement new features of our product in Python/Django
- Load test our systems
- Maintain and extend our REST API, data schema and test suites
- Manage the daily deployment process
Skills
- Mad Linux skills (we use Ubuntu)
- Nginx web server configuration & troubleshooting
- Load-balancing concepts

- Able to perform under pressure and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment that requires fresh thinking, innovation and solutions-oriented approach

There is already a working system in place scraping over a hundred thousand product pages per day from multiple websites. Must-have:
- Strong grasp of Python and XPath.
